Your Guide to a Jewel Toned Winter Wedding
There are some colours which work exceptionally for weddings, whatever the time of year. But there are some colours which work particularly well for a particular season. As winter sets in the opulence and richness of jewel tones begins to work beautifully for weddings. Think vibrant shades of blues, purples, ruby and emerald, matched with accents of gold.
Table runners, floral arrangements, candles and tea light holders are all excellent ways to work in your wedding colour theme. If you are going for emerald, golds, whites and creams complement it wonderfully. Shades of burgundy, cerise, blush gold and greenery work beautifully with vibrant purples, gold and white are the perfect foil for ruby and silver is the perfect accent to sapphire blue themes.
A dark tone invite with metallic gold looks so beautiful. Go for a calligraphy font in-keeping with your opulent theme.
Deep hues in your selected jewel colour interspersed with brighter and softer colours and greenery will work wonderfully. Speak to your florist about which vibrant hues of flowers are available in your selected month. You could go for a beautiful coloured ribbon to tie your bouquet together.
You could go for dresses in your selected colour or go for a muted hue in the same shade. If you don’t mind going glitzy then you could even go for dresses in your accent colour of gold.
