Wedding Colour Theme: Pale Pink and Gold
Our Ballroom lends itself so beautifully to so many wedding themes, one of our favourites is pale pink and gold, romantic, elegant and utterly timeless. This gorgeous theme fits so perfectly our venue as the backdrop – with our ornate chandeliers, neutral tones and gilded touches. If you’re planning a pale pink and gold wedding theme, we have a few ideas:
The prettiest way to incorporate pink into your theme? Flowers. Lots and lots of romantic, fluffy flowers. Some of our favourite pink blooms are ruffle head carnations, dahlias, hydrangeas and peonies, you can speak to your florist about which flowers are in season around your wedding date and go from there. If you’re having a family style set-up, a floral runner looks gorgeous, you could also adorn candelabras with blooms or have single flowers in pretty gold vases and little votive candle holders.
Beautiful calligraphy fits wonderfully with this elegant theme. You can use it for lettered table numbers, gold on white looks particularly stunning. You could also use it for table plans, signs and wedding invites.
A white, gold and pale pink wedding cake is a thing of total beauty. You have so many options – a marble cake gilded with gold and topped with pink flowers is one of our favourites.
When it comes to theming, it’s often the little details that make the biggest difference. If you’d like to go all out with this theme then you could consider gold charger plates, glasses with touches of gold and gold cutlery.
Shoes, because who doesn’t want a pair of gorgeous sparkly shoes? The ones in our mood board are by Badgley Mischka, but many designers and high street brands will do similar styles.
