Wedding theme Ideas: Parisian
What better wedding theme than one taking inspiration from the City of Love, Paris? The city on the Seine epitomises elegance, romance and beauty, and has so much to lend to a wedding theme. The key to creating this timeless theme is to use a classic backdrop and add in lots of romantic details underpinned with utter elegance.
For the colour palette you could consider chic black and white, a pair of pretty pastels, beautiful blush or glittering gold. Any of these options would work wonderfully with this theme.
When it comes to your wedding gown, think elegance and simplicity. Forgo over-the-top detailing and opt instead for simplicity and elegance. If you want a romantic dress you could go for a lace dress with a short train, delicate finishes and subtle details.
When it comes to your wedding flowers, keep with the romantic Parisian feel by using lots of peonies, we don’t think there exists a bloom more romantic than the peony. If you’re opting for a monochrome colour scheme we thing soft pink looks gorgeous and classic, or a coral would add a pop of playfulness. With gold you could go for corals, pinks or whites and with a pastel theme go for classic white.
You could have classic monochrome Chanel bags with peonies as décor around your venue, or as centrepieces and go for pretty coloured French fancies on tables and as favours.
Luxurious fabrics used on tables will add to the Parisian effect, a macaron tower makes a gorgeous alternative to a wedding cake and will wow your guests and obviously you’ll wear No 5 as you walk up the aisle.
