Centrepiece Ideas For Your Wedding
When it comes to centrepieces for your wedding, there are so many pretty options. From classic candelabras to elegant balloons and ones that tell the story of the happy couple. Here are a few of our favourites:
ONE A recent wedding at The City Rooms had the most beautiful blooms adorned with crystals and hanging lanterns as the centrepieces for tables, this worked so beautifully in our Ballroom, the height of the centrepieces working wonderfully with our high ceiling and ornate touches. Plus you can never go wrong with flowers this pretty!
TWO Another of our couples were big board game fans, so they placed one of their favourite board games on the centre of every table, it makes for such a unique touch when couples bring their personalities into their wedding day.
THREE In another instance of a couple bringing their own personalities to their wedding, another Karla and Chris used our candelabras, draped them with pearls and placed a couple of gingerbread people on each. There was a personal story behind the use of gingerbread and they looked beautiful with their theme.
FOUR For a rustic theme we love the idea of using slabs of tree trunks and placing vases with flowers and candles on them. The effect is stunning and you have so many options when it comes to the type of flowers you can use.
FIVE Does anything say winter like a pinecone? Which it why we love the example in the picture above of a vase filled with pinecones and a metallic sprayed branch with little tea lights hanging off the branches. In the soft light of winter, these would look simply beautiful.
SIX Finally, a single, beautiful balloon can strike a perfect balance between elegant and contemporary – we love the idea of a perfectly round balloon complimented with glitter and chiffon.
