Creating your event

With our extensive in-house event management experience, we are accustomed to organising both small and large scale events and conferences. It is this experience, combined with our unrivalled ability to make our events that little bit special, which has made The City Rooms one of the most prestigious conference venues in Leicester and the East Midlands.

The Grade 1 listed building in the heart of Leicester city centre, offers a wonderful combination of traditional elegance and tranquility with modern functionality. Comprising three function suites, we cater for small and large conferences alike. All are fully accessible, including the Ballroom which has lift access.

Our Conference Suites

The Dining Room
This room can seat up to 80 delegates and has natural daylight. This room works well when used with the bar which is directly next door. Delegates can choose to have their breaks in there as a private space if they wish. This room also offers the perfect setting for reception drinks at a corporate event.

The Drawing Room
This room can seat up to 55 delegates and has natural daylight.

The Ballroom
Flooded with natural daylight, The Ballroom is one of the largest and most impressive conference facilities in Leicester, with a capacity of up to 200 delegates.

The Bar
Ideal for use as a breakout space or a private lunch.

We believe that clients should be able to spend their time looking after delegates with the peace of mind that all the operational details are in hand. From the first moment of enquiry, throughout the pre-event planning and right up to the day of the event, everything is geared around making your day as simple as possible.
